Meet Cara

Founder of Harmony Homes Estate Services

Cara is the heart behind Harmony Homes—a mom, collector, and lifelong lover of all things mid-century (especially vintage dishes and glassware!). Her passion for the past started early, antique shopping with her mom as a teen, and grew even stronger after purchasing a 1950s home in the early 2000s. What started as a love for collecting has grown into a keen eye for finding value in the things others might overlook.

Cara began running estate sales for clients of a family member who works in real estate, and quickly realized how much she enjoyed helping people during times of transition. With every sale, she brings compassion, professionalism, and a deep respect for the memories tied to each item in a home.

She’s also been in her clients’ shoes. Cara has personally cleaned out homes of loved ones who have passed or downsized, and she understands just how emotional and overwhelming the process can be. That’s why she’s committed to making estate sales and cleanouts easier—and more meaningful—for the families she serves.

When she’s not preparing a home for sale, you can find Cara walking her huskies, spending time on her family’s apple orchard farm, cooking up something delicious, or hosting family and friends for a warm evening of laughter and good food.

Estate Sale Assistant & Vintage Style Enthusiast

Maddie brings a joyful energy and a sharp eye for design to every estate sale. With a strong background in furniture and clothing sales, she’s passionate about helping people find just the right piece—whether it’s a timeless treasure or a perfect everyday find. Her natural gift for connecting with others and creating beautiful spaces shines through in every project she takes on.

A lover of vintage glassware (especially cranberry-colored pieces!) and pyrex dishes, Maddie inherited her passion for collecting from her mom, Cara. After helping with her first estate sale, Maddie was hooked—falling in love with the process of honoring family stories and finding new homes for cherished belongings.

She approaches each sale with creativity, warmth, and compassion—especially knowing firsthand how emotional the process can be when families are facing loss or transition.

When she’s not setting up a sale or decorating a space, you’ll likely find Maddie enjoying time outdoors—camping, fishing, off-roading, getting muddy, or soaking up the sunshine. She also loves spending time in the kitchen cooking for family and friends.
